Licence Agreement

This agreement is between you and Lynx Download and covers the Lynx software: Lynx Download Manager, Lynx Notch and the Lynx browser extension (“the Software”). By installing or using the Software you accept it.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software.

• Free version: on any number of your own computers.
• Lynx Pro: for one person on one of their own computers at a time, for the period you’ve paid for (or permanently, for a lifetime licence). You can move it to another of your computers whenever you like.
• Team: for the number of people you’ve paid for, each on one computer at a time.

2. What you may not do

• Share, sell, rent or publish your licence key.
• Bypass or disable licence checks, or distribute modified copies of the Software.
• Reverse engineer the Software, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
• Use the Software to download or share content you don’t have the right to, or in breach of a website’s terms.
• Use the Software, or modify it, to get around copy protection (DRM) — it doesn’t do this, and you may not make it.

3. Open-source components

The Software includes open-source components — among them yt-dlp, FFmpeg, aria2 and QuickJS — each under its own licence. Those licences apply to those components, and nothing in this agreement limits your rights under them. We’ll send you the list and licence texts on request.

4. Updates

The Software keeps its download engine up to date automatically, and updates itself with releases we sign. Some updates may be needed to keep downloads working.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

6. Ending the licence

This licence ends automatically if you break this agreement. You can end it at any time by deleting the Software. Sections 3, 5, 7 and 8 continue after it ends.

7. No warranty

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Software, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.

9. General

This agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. Questions: support@lynxdownloadmanager.com.
