Do I need to download the whole video first?
No. Paste the link, switch to Clip and save — Lynx fetches only what it needs. If you already downloaded the video, it cuts from your copy.
How long can a clip be?
Free clips can be up to 1 minute. With Pro there’s no limit, and you can save several parts from one video in one go.
What quality are clips?
The same qualities as downloads — up to 1080p on Free and up to 8K on Pro. Clips cut from a file you already have keep its full quality.
Which videos can I clip?
Any video Lynx can download — from a file on your Mac or from a page with a video. Lynx doesn’t get around copy protection, so videos from streaming services that use it can’t be downloaded or clipped.
