Uninstall Lynx

Remove Lynx and, if you want, its settings and cache.

  1. Quit Lynx (⌘Q). If you set it to keep running when its window is closed, right-click its Dock icon and choose Quit.
  2. Drag Lynx Download Manager from the Applications folder to the Trash.

Your downloaded files are not touched — they stay in the folder you chose (normally Downloads/LynxDownload).

To also remove settings and caches, delete this folder in Finder (⇧⌘G, paste the path):

~/Library/Application Support/com.lynxdownload.manager

If you installed the browser extension, remove it from your browser’s Extensions page.
