Choose quality and format

Quality

The card lists every quality the site offers — 360p up to 4K (2160p) and 8K (4320p) when they exist — each with the size of the file you’ll get. A small 60 next to a quality means 60 frames per second.

The quality you pick is the quality you get. If a video has 4K, Lynx never silently gives you 1080p.

4K and above are part of Pro (free during your trial).

Format

For video, MP4 plays everywhere and is the default. Lynx prefers the H.264 codec at the quality you picked, so the file opens in QuickTime, Final Cut, Premiere and on phones without converting.

For Audio only, choose:

Format	Good for
MP3	Any player, any device
M4A	Apple devices, slightly smaller for the same quality
FLAC	Lossless, smaller than WAV
WAV	Lossless, for editing

Sizes are real

The sizes on the card are worked out the same way the download is — they match what lands on your disk, give or take a little.
